MAKERFARM Y AXIS MOTOR MOUNT (IMPROVED)
thingiverse
The wood on the Y axis motor mount for my Makerfarm printer was breaking where the nut and bolt are held in, and was causing homing issues (and probably print issues), so i made an improved, replacement motor mount. NOTE - 1. the square alignment tabs might require some sanding/filing to get a proper fit. NOTE - 2. The nut holes (gigity!) might need to be melted before pushing the nut in (gigity!) NOTE - 3. Its recommended to print it slowly NOTE - 4 Its recommended that you melt some filament over the nuts, after inserting them (gigity!) to prevent them from rotating when screwing/unscrewing in the bolts. Glue should also do the job, but will take longer to dry. NOTE -5- There is a little tab that can be cut off after printing, it is just there for stability during the printing process, so the mount dosnt tip over.
