Makerfarm Webcam mount for Microsoft Lifecam Show
thingiverse
A webcam mount for Microsoft Lifecam Show attaches to the build plate of MakerFarm i3v or Pegasus 3D printers. The webcam is mounted stationary on printers where Y-axis motion achieves by moving the build plate, providing a clear view of the part. The mount is based on HoffmanEngineering's variant with quarter-inch (wood) or 3mm (aluminum) Y carriage and stabilizing arm options available. To attach the Lifecam Show mount, the brackets have been modified to fit an M5 bolt in a 5.5mm diameter hole. The Lifecam Show mount comes in two angles: 15 degrees or 30 degrees, allowing users to customize their view. I designed this webcam mount using OnShape, a web-based CAD tool. The design is available online at cad.onshape.com/documents/5750ce10e4b0634a441cf939/w/a3677fcdee38ca6707cba97e/e/ff21dd9ea263fb4ee77b6ad4.
