I am employing these clips to retain the Z nuts on my Prusa i3v from escaping their nut trap. This ensures that both Z elevators remain in sync. The clip provides a few millimeters of vertical play in case your Z stop is too low and was engineered to break if something goes drastically wrong with the Z movement. Printing proceeds straightforwardly, I used PLA with no material support required. Printing the two clips simultaneously has the advantage that the PLA of each layer has ample time to cool down before printing the next layer.
