This revised cooling system by thiagokunz is a must-have for Prusa i3 MakerFarm owners with Magma hot ends. Enhancements over the original include: slightly increased fit tolerance, retainer clip for the wedge piece, bolt through-holes for easy removal, and a new fan cover at 90-degree rotation. The key feature is the bolt-through holes, which allow you to detach the entire hot end with cooling system intact after removing extruder bolts. Although airflow may slightly decrease, it retains the original's purpose of directing air away from the nozzle. Ideal for frequent extruder head swaps, such as for CNC router or laser cutter heads. Updates include shoulder fixes on main duct shroud bolt holes (v14) and a rotated fan cover by thiagokunz. Print all STL files on a 6" bed using fine resolution (0.2mm layer height or less). Dense infill isn't crucial. The tray-shaped piece goes under the aluminum cooling block. If plastic leakage causes an obstruction, heat the hot end to remove it. Position the wedge beneath guide clips and secure with bolts through bolt pockets. Attach the fan to extruder holes using #4-32 1.5" machine screws (available at Lowe's or Home Depot in the US). Air should flow up from small front holes.
