This modification stays true to Cylindric's design at Thingiverse with its unique 3mm screw hole and slot meant for a nut retaining mechanism as described by Makerfarm's original design blueprint. Z-probe accuracy problems were a major issue for me so I wanted to secure the sensor mounting plate with an added hold from two reliable spots, even though my i3v might not have this same design element the standard i3 potentially doesn't either.
