Makerfarm i3v 12" X Tilt Plate - for Dual Extruder Calibration
thingiverse
The existing X back plate requires a new hole to be drilled in the middle of its top, ensuring proper alignment. Three long screws and 6mm spacers must be added to the existing structure, allowing a maximum 3-degree tilt adjustment in either direction. This tweak compensates for minor variations in extruder lengths, which can range up to .5mm according to my calculations. I utilize 1/4-20 Lock nuts as spacers and opt for 25mm bolts at all three locations, with oversized washers used where necessary for added support.
