Makerfarm Folding Spool

Makerfarm Folding Spool

thingiverse

I was in desperate need of a folding spool for my Faberdashery and Proto-Pasta filament coils, but I just couldn't find any existing designs that would fit snugly into my Makerfarm Prusa i3v's spool holder. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands - literally! I remixed benbois' foldable spool v2 to get it just right for my machine, and with a few tweaks here and there, I was able to make the fastener holes recessed so that the sides would be flush, which meant no more worries about the nuts bumping up against the spool holder's sides. You're going to need: * 3 - M3x35mm button cap screws * 3 - M3 Locknuts To get started with building this fabulous spool, simply print out three arms and one of each side plate. Next, assemble everything using some good old M3 x 35mm button cap screws & M3 lock nuts, and voila! You'll have yourself a top-notch spool in no time.
