MakerDays logo in 3D
thingiverse
MakerDays, an event held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands from March 26-30, 2014, aims to connect professional manufacturers with enthusiastic makers. MakerDays commissioned me to create a 3D printable version of their logo for various printers, including FDM printers like Ultimakers and Makerbots. The unique aspect of this project is the collaboration between MakerDays and 3D Hubs, the world's largest network of 3D printers. Makers worldwide will print and photograph themselves with the logo in front of local landmarks, demonstrating the power of distributed manufacturing. Cities currently participating include Eindhoven, Rio, New York, Moscow, and Antwerp; will your city join them?
