Here's a useful project that requires some precision: building a reliable spool holder as I mentioned in my previous update. My designed version is geared towards holding large spools with diameters of 20 cm (or about 8 inches, which should be a more familiar size for many users outside Europe). You might already have one of these spools at home, obtained from any typical hardware store. Just make sure to visit them before they dispose of their leftover materials; in that way, you can obtain one without any hassle. The clerk won't think twice about giving it away if asked politely and correctly.
