MakerBot T-Rex Legs Split Up

I was having trouble getting the leg pieces to fit together properly, so I decided to split them up and create a sturdy raft around the legs instead. This approach seemed to do the trick, but it's worth noting that the issue only arose because I had printed the parts at a 4x scale.
