The Makerbot PLA Large Spool Hub is designed specifically for use with large spools of material on the Palette 2 filament holder. This hub securely clicks into place, allowing it to slide smoothly onto the Palette 2's rod where it holds your chosen spool firmly in position. To swap out one spool for another, simply release the connection and switch them over - no additional supports are needed to keep your print going strong.
