MakerBot Sound Library #001 - Pulley Print

thingiverse

Over the past few months, video and audio materials were collected for MakerBot Industries' upcoming projects, including a "Meet the MakerBot Operators" profile series. These media will be returned to Thingiverse members to encourage their involvement in MakerBot-related projects, videos, and music. Experiments with sounds, tones, and repurposing MakerBots as musical instruments are also planned for future projects. A first sound library focusing on pulley printing is available, recorded using a boom, various contact mics, and a Marantz stereo recorder. The samples can be downloaded in two archives, with 24-bit recordings also available upon request. Community members are encouraged to use these materials for compositions, drum loops, and sound effects, while suggestions for additional samples are welcome.
