MakerBot's Doorstop

MakerBot's Doorstop

thingiverse

When the MakerBot Store (located at 298 Mulberry Street in Manhattan) initially opened, we had to keep the door ajar due to a temporary gate issue. The existing doorstop, featuring a hook and loop style, was positioned inside the store; thus, rendering it unsuitable for our purpose. To resolve this predicament, Todd designed, printed, tested, and revised a taller-than-average doorstop. The first prototype fell short, necessitating a new one. Ultimately, Version 2 - the taller model - was deemed suitable. This creative solution was made possible by the MakerBot Replicatorâ„¢2 Desktop 3D Printer.
