Modification that rotates the extruder 90degrees, allowing for use of a 4020 hotend fan & overall more compact design.Refer to images for assembly.Larger holes intended for heat-set inserts, whilst smaller ones allow passthrough of an M3 bolt.The drill template is used by removing the whole toolhead, popping the template in using the rectangular holes, and drilling 3mm holes. then screw in the front & rear blocks before reassembling the motion system.Hotend fan mount used in images can be found here. ATTENTION: THIS DESIGN IS INTENDED FOR A “VOLCANO” STYLE V6. USE OF A STANDARD V6 WILL REQUIRE ADJUSTMENTS BE MADE TO THE BLTOUCH MOUNT & FAN MOUNT.
