MakerBot Replicator Mini Spool Holder
thingiverse
The small spools that come with the Makerbot Replicator Mini are often not large enough for many users, so people frequently want to connect the machine to larger spools, but unfortunately these will not fit within the machine. Fortunately, Creative Tools has a solution! We designed a compact holder and a long tube specifically made for holding 3D printing filament in a convenient snap-in compartment. This design includes a "snap-in" space for attaching an universal dust filter from Thingiverse, which can be accessed by clicking here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:492067. Both the compact holder and long tube will neatly click into place on top of the MakerBot Mini baseplate. They are easily moved back and forth to best accommodate spool sizes of all types. If you need to remove either part, simply give it a gentle push upwards. The holder and tube will slide right off without any difficulty. This versatile tool can be used alone or with the universal dust-filter.
