Makerbot Replicator Custom Slicing Profile
thingiverse
To resolve issues with prints not sticking to the build plate on a Makerbot Replicator 1, create a custom slicing profile with raft settings in ReplicatorG. In "Edit Slicing Profiles," duplicate the default profile, name it, and choose Raft settings in Skeinforge. Customize settings according to your preference, including support cross-hatch, and save all changes. Generate GCode for printing, set object infill at 8%, layer height at .25mm, shells at 2, feedrate at 40mm/s, travel feedrate at 55, print temperature at 225°C, and adjust HBP temperature to 115°C before printing. A helpful reference is available at http://wiki.bitsfrombytes.com/index.php?title=Skeinforge_Raft. An updated version of this method can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:102619
