This spool holder is designed to have a place for the bowden tube to butt against. I also had issues with the spool rubbing on the back of the printer so I have tried to make a feature to keep the spool away from the back of the printer. The objective here is to reduce the amount of effort required by the extruder to pull the filament through the tube. I am trying to form a smooth path for the filament tube from the back of the printer to the extruder. So far it works ok but it flexes quite a bit under the weight of the filament spool, which leads to the filament spool moving away from the back of the printer. I have included a Revision A1 version which I hope will be stiffer, but I haven't tried it yet.
