Edit: mirrored versions now available, courtesy of Cura and untested. Please let us know if any issues arise. This design is crafted to make using a non-MakerBot spool of filament effortless. It leverages the existing filament guide tube to minimize stress on both the printer and filament as much as possible. The V2 file has been redesigned to accommodate the MakerBot large 0.9kg spools, eliminating the need for switching between the cartridge system and side-mounted spools. The old design interfered with the gantry system on some 5th Gen units and with the Replicator+, while the new V2 design no longer interferes with the gantry and works seamlessly with ALL 5th Gen and Replicator+ printers. It sits comfortably on the left side of the 5th Gen Replicator or Replicator+ and swings into place effortlessly. This design enables a non-MakerBot spool to be used easily without significantly increasing the overall footprint of the machine. We designed this specifically so that we could use 3D-Fuel filament with ease.
