This part ensures a smooth spool spin by guiding the filament tube closer to the middle of the spool. It helps prevent tangles and knots from forming. To install this part, start by printing it upside down. Once printed, place it behind your Makerbot Replicator 2 printer. Remove the filament guide tube from the back of the printer, but leave the filament in the tube intact. Flip the new part over so that its two posts point downwards and its semi-circular groove faces towards the back. Next, insert the two posts into the holes in the printer's body. Make sure they click securely into place. The rectangular slot between the posts is designed to accommodate the large cable bundle. Once the posts are seated, push the filament guide tube into the semi-circular groove. This will keep it secure and prevent any further tangles. With this part installed, you're ready to start printing again. Simply thread your filament through the new guide tube and begin your print job. Happy Printing!
