Here is the rewritten text: The DM3 end-stop switch on our Makerbot Replicator 2 suffered damage, causing the arm to detach completely. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the switch featured two holes through it and realized these could be utilized to secure a replacement component in place. Following several trial attempts, this makeshift solution proved successful, and works seamlessly, effortlessly snapping into position on top of the switch without any issues whatsoever. To accommodate the mounting screw for the board, I was forced to shrink the size of the spring's tip accordingly. Unfortunately, the SCAD files lack parameters, a result of my impulsive approach in rapidly developing this fix.
