This is a custom enclosure kit for the MakerBot Replicator 2 printer. The kit is completely free to use, modify and share your new designs with us. To assemble the kit, you need to latch the door to the printer frame. Simply align it with the frame and drill hinge holes using a 3mm drill bit. The enclosure kit includes: Top Enclosure with Change Filament Door Side Panels and Front Door with Latch Knob To fix the panels, use M5 screws. For knobs and hinges, use M3 screws and nuts. Print all 3D printed parts in ABS material, especially the latch knob. Assemble the enclosure using super glue as per the assembly manual. The circle dropped from the laser cut on both sides of the top enclosure must be glued to the roof door as shown in the assembly manual to work as a hinge for the door. Special thanks go out to Eng. Amr Mohsin (Enclosure Designer), Emiel Noorlander (Latch Knob Designer), Drazztic Action (Hinges Designer) and Kardis (Enclosure Door Knob). This enclosure was inspired by the MakerBot Replicator 2/2X hood designed by Selphb. Printing Instructions: Print with Layer Height: 0.2 5 Shells Perimeter No Raft No Support
