The clip design was modified from its original form by GigaKnight's Mounting Clip for MakerBot 5th Generation. The size was scaled up slightly and PLA lettering was added. The clip is designed to quickly display the color of PLA filament loaded into a Makerbot printer, making it easier to identify which printer has what filament at a glance. It can also be used as an educational tool to show newcomers to 3D printing the various textures and colors available at a given location. Thing files and Binary STL formats are both available for download.
