Here is the rewritten text: Metal MK8 Extruder Upgrades with Filament Guide and Cylindrical Insert from eBay. My Upgrade is Designed for Bowden Printers, Specifically E3D Kraken. The Simple Upgrade Adds Power to the Stepper Motor and Enables Large Retraction of the Filament. I Recently Purchased All-Metal Makerbot MK8 Bowden Extruders and Feeders for My Multihead Printer. After Installing the Stepper Motor, Which Powered My Old 3D Printed Extruder Until Now (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1132201), I Discovered That My 60NM Stepper Motor Cannot Push the Filament. I Realized That the Stepper Motor Loses Its Strength Due to the Large Diameter of the Drive Gear Pulley, Which Measures 11mm. To Improve Performance, I Replaced the Original Gear Pulley with a Smaller One (9mm Outside Diameter and 7.5mm Effective Diameter in the Groove for Filament). The Next Step is to Replace the Small Pressure Bearing with a Large-Diameter 608ZZ Bearing (Small Diameter of the Bearing Deforms Filament and Tears It During Retractions). To Accommodate the New Bearing, I Must Enlarge the Aluminum Attachment by Grinding. For More Information, Search Instructables.com for: MK8 Metal Bowden Extruder Wire Feeder Ultimate Upgrade.
