Makerbot Mini+ Spool Hook and Plug

Makerbot Mini+ Spool Hook and Plug

I've chosen 1kg spools, typically Hatchbox or AmazonBasics brand, since the Makerbot 0.2kg stuff spools are five times more expensive and need to be swapped out five times as often. The plug lets me have a mounted spool behind my printer without dragging the filament over the edge, which literally carved grooves on the top edge of my printer. It should also reduce the force required for the extruder to turn the spool. I can use it without the spool hook if I have another spool holder. The hook hangs off the back of the printer and holds the spool. It can be printed on the Mini+ in its proper orientation, but requires a lot of support. If I have access to a large printer, printing it on its side is a better option. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/66jZ6MYb3Ep
