MakerBot Mascot Transformer

MakerBot Mascot Transformer

thingiverse

Introducing my MakerBot Mascot competition entry: a Transformer! I've poured time and effort into designing this perfect buddy, hoping it won't be in vain. Emulating the ideal MakerBot, it transforms from Maker mode to Bot mode. It's tech-savvy yet friendly, avoiding an aggressive appearance. The design reflects that technical complexity should be user-friendly and accessible to all. Updates: New version with correct MakerBot font (27.09.2011), thanks to http://www.thingiverse.com/nycdesigner! Corrections in leg logo attachment and minor overhangs added on 28.09.2011. Three versions available: STL, STEP, and SolidWorks2010 format. An additional stl file features parts printed on plane surfaces. All models are printable with overheads not exceeding 45 degrees. Simply print, assemble, and enjoy!
