A revision on a student's 3D modeling of part of MakerBot Plastruder involved using Blender to eradicate approximately 3000 redundant vertices and recalculate normals for optimal results. Furthermore, the model scale was adjusted from 1 Blender Unit per centimeter to 1 Blender Unit per millimeter after discovering a scaling mismatch with Skeinforge. Both steps were deemed crucial when working with CAD files.
