MakerBot Eraser Feet
thingiverse
Greetings to everyone, this is my first-ever project in Blender; however, I only modified it, which was quite challenging for a beginner like me. I was inspired by tbuser's fantastic design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1579). Unfortunately, I couldn't find the appropriate size O-Rings in Brazil, so I made a new version that would fit items available at home. I used regular school erasers for the feet, which are soft enough to prevent vibration transfer to the table, resulting in a quieter MakerBot. To create this, you need to print four bottom pieces from the provided link and two left and right top pieces from tbuser's design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1579). Screw a 16mm M3 bolt into the bottom piece until its head is level with the bottom side. Insert an M3 nut into the large hole of the top piece, then screw the bolt with the bottom piece into the top piece. Place these components at the bottom of your MakerBot, ensuring the square part aligns with the bot's base. Adjust the height by twisting the bottom pieces. Enjoy!
