I had to design custom supports for the X and Y axis endstops in my city's clone of a Prusa printer, as the Makerbot endstop wasn't available. The supports can be placed in any direction due to the symmetrical design, which accommodates 8mm smooth bars. Only two M3x15 screws with nuts are needed for secure placement.
