MakerBot Earphone Caddy

MakerBot Earphone Caddy

Recently, I attended a MakerBot workshop in Philadelphia and discovered the OWL WRAP EarPhone Caddy. Impressed by its functionality, I requested Zach to print one for me. To promote MakerBot's capabilities, I propose the MakerBot Earphone Caddy as a unique business card. Key features of this design include: 1) optimizing the model for MakerBot's build capabilities, 2) incorporating advertising text in a readable, raised format, and 3) enabling printing of multiple units at once. However, improvements are needed, such as ensuring easy phone retrieval, ambidextrous jack placement, clearer text, and ensuring structural integrity during the vertical build. To refine this model, I invite MakerBot users to print it, provide feedback, and help perfect the design. As a tribute to MakerBot's affordability, I aim to create a prototype that showcases its unique personality through its builds.
