The Plastruder Mk 4 mod facilitates secure Bowden cable attachment on your Makerbot, preventing messy filament tangles and enabling a remote extruder motor for taller Cupcake prints. To install, print with any 3D printer, put an M6 nut in the recess, screw the Bowden cable from the other side (a 6mm OD, 4mm ID tube works well), unscrew top two Plastruder bolts, reassemble, and potentially shorten bushes if your extruder board is in front of the motor. The photo shows a Cat5e cable wiring for a remote extruder controller.
