Makerbot/Createbot MK8-MK9-MK10 to E3D V6 Dual Extruder with Bowden
thingiverse
Update #2 This is my solution for upgrading my Createbot Max 400+ with a new and more efficient extruder. The Createbot printer uses a standard MK8-MK9 extruder with direct drive technology, same as many printers like Makerbot and Wanhao. The kit consists of 3 parts plus the nema17 support for bowden printing. Plus two fans for extruders and one for cooling printed parts. I printed all in ABS with a 100% fill rate. Requested materials: 6 nuts 3mm (plus 6 if you need to fix cable chains) 6 screws 3mm 3 fans 40x40x10mm (two for extruders and one for printing cool parts) THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, ACTUALLY WORKS PERFECTLY ON MY PRINTER. Print Settings: Printer: Createbot MAX 400+ Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 100% Notes: I used ABS but it should work fine with PLA.
