DESIGN SUMMARY The cylinder on the left of my design is mainly to hold pencils/pens. The cylinder was designed to be able to be used for other things too, there is a hole in the bottom of the cylinder that can be used to hold erasers and small things or to retrieve things that have fallen into the cylinder easier. The two flat parts are able to hold things that take up more space. The larger flat part could hold things like calculators or staplers and the smaller (and lower down) one could hold things like erasers, pencil sharpeners and paperclips. This design can help virtual students by giving them a good place to put their things. The issues I had whilst creating this was not having an idea of what to do. In the end I settled on making a simple to use design that can be used for any purpose. If I could design this again I would make a slot underneath the main area for a calculator to sit in. My design could be improved with 3D printing because I would be able to see the design in relation to real life objects.
