To kick off my Christmas holiday project, I decided to stop merely observing and take action! Anticipating my electronics kit's arrival via post, I opted for a 5mm cast acrylic (PMMA) body instead of the unavailable 5mm ply in the UK. The blue glow is quite appealing! Some tabs needed sanding to fit into slots due to the binary fail factor with acrylic. A few build platform issues remain, such as magnets not fitting into slots and tight linear bearings for 8mm precision shafts. Reaming might be necessary for resolution.
