Bag Holder for Makerbot Filament Spools Designed by Griffin for Easy Storage and Transportation I designed this bag holder as part of my Design Studies class, where we were tasked with solving a real-world problem. My teacher, Mr. Nichol, was struggling to find a solution to store our filament spool bags on the school's filament wall. I wanted to create something that would not only hold the spools securely but also make it easy for Mr. Nichol to transport them around the classroom. This is my sixth version of the design, and I added a handle this time to make it even easier for Mr. Nichol to carry the bags around. If you want to modify my design or print one out, please feel free to do so! I would love to hear how it turns out and if it helps Mr. Nichol with his storage needs. Printing Instructions: The bag holder was printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2 using a 10% fill ratio and slowing down the print speed a bit helped prevent excessive shaking at the end of the print job. I recommend printing the model on its end, with the handle oriented to one side, for optimal stability.
