MakerBot 2 Front Spool Holder

MakerBot 2 Front Spool Holder

Having a 3D printer at home and school is really convenient, but I've always disliked the hassle of turning it around to switch out spools. In my classroom, students have come close to knocking the printer off the table while trying to turn it. The Front Spool Holder takes care of all that! Other designs I've seen require a trip to the hardware store or use far more filament than I'm willing to waste. This design is straightforward and compact. The hole lets you insert different spool pegs, just like on the back of a 3D printer. For printing, I've had success with settings at 10% infill, two shells, and no supports.
