MakerBeam's mockup, a 10 cm long model, is now available for printing after some delays due to busy schedules and fried neighborhood MakerBots. The 10x10mm beam with a 3mm slot demonstrates the basic design but may not hold circuit boards as well as the actual extruded beam. It's an initial prototype, so the final beam profile may differ. Erik de Bruijn suggests printing the 15x15mm file for a usable model. The 10x10x100mm dimensions are provided, with plans to release shorter beams for scaling.
