After traveling through the vast expanse of space, I finally discovered the lost components of Maker Tron, a legendary warrior who led countless battles with unparalleled skill. With a map found on an old drone, I embarked on my mission to revive this mechanical giant. I'd heard tales of his titanic clashes and was determined to see him restored to his former glory. My task was to reassemble the parts, polish them until they shone like new, and bring Maker Tron back online. To make this possible, I designed an attractive exterior that highlighted his combat prowess through a deliberate balance of proportions and internal shapes. Maker Tron boasts 11 points of articulation: head, shoulders, arms, knees, upper legs, and feet. I also created detailed renderings of the 3D model, showcasing its various aspects. In addition to these images, you can find pictures of the printed model and a YouTube video where I delve deeper into my design. To bring Maker Tron back to life, I recommend printing each part multiple times, as specified in the printing guide below. This ensures optimal results and minimizes any issues that may arise during the printing process. For successful post-processing, please refer to the attached JPG file or watch my video for valuable insights and helpful tips. For those interested in 3D printing Maker Tron, I've included a detailed guide below: **Printing Specifications:** * Printer: Zortrax M200 * Material: Cool Gray ABS * Layer Height: 200 microns * Infill: Medium * Support: Strong (30%) * Recommended to print each part multiple times for optimal results **Guide for Successful Printing:** 1. Connect the parts in the order specified below, using the numbers as a guide. 2. If any connections become loose, apply several drops of super glue and let them dry before proceeding. 3. The original STL file does not contain color information; these colors are used only for presentation purposes. **Modeling in ZBrush** I built Maker Tron's 3D model using ZBrush, a powerful tool that allowed me to craft intricate details and shapes. With its extensive range of features, I was able to create a truly unique and captivating design that showcases the mechanical giant's combat prowess.
