Maker Select V2 MK8 mount with Fang Cooling Duct connection
cults3d
Upgraded my hotend for my Maker Select V2 to a mk8, so created a bracket specifically for the mk8, and the fang cooling duct created by Deamoncrack. I made this so that you could use brass threaded inserts, since I found that I frequently took the fang cooler off to get access to the heatblock, and the screws degraded the plastic over time, so would have to print new one more than I would like. Incorporated the backing from the Fang cooler into the mount, which allows for the hotend cooler end to connect right to it. Also, offset the hotend about 10mm to the left since for the Maker Select the hotend is not quite centered, and found that it frequently banged against the right pillar when pushing the printer to the limits of the bed size. Used.... 4 x (m3 x 15mm bolts) 2 x (m3 x 20mm bolts) 2 x (m4 x 20mm bolts) Stock screws for x belts 4 x (3mm x 8mm brass threaded inserts) 2 x (3mm x 10mm brass threaded inserts) 2 x (4mm x 8mm brass threaded inserts) Soldering Iron Carbon Fiber filament
