Maker Select V2 Glass Bed Clip
thingiverse
I designed these custom components to seamlessly integrate with the printer hardware that comes standard with the device. I'm currently refining this project, and while there are a few issues to iron out, I'm confident they can be resolved quickly. After an exhaustive search on Thingiverse, I couldn't find any designs that met my specific requirements, so I took the initiative to create these components from scratch using Sketchup as my design tool. The slicing process was handled by Cura, ensuring precise geometry and optimal print quality. I successfully printed the components with PETG, and the accompanying G-code file is calibrated for this material to ensure compatibility. To provide flexibility, I've included the STL file, allowing users to print it with their preferred material of choice. However, I strongly recommend using a high-temperature material for optimal results. For added convenience, I've also shared the Sketchup file, enabling users to customize the design to fit their specific glass plate. To assemble these components, simply disassemble the print bed and utilize the print bed bolts and nuts, along with the springs that come standard with your printer.
