Maker Select v2 Cable Chain Mounts
thingiverse
I purchased a Maker Select v2 in September of 2017 and immediately disliked the loose y-axis wiring that seemed to hang precariously, waiting to be pinched between the table and frame. I discovered a cable chain designed for a Wanaho printer here (a close relative of the MSv2) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2221459), but unfortunately, the plate mount and frame mount were misaligned by about a centimeter. Additionally, other plate mounts that may have worked didn't take into account the location of the soldered wires on the bottom of my heated bed. I suspected this was due to design changes between printers or versions, so I created my own model, which fits the MSv2 perfectly. To complete this project, you will also need the UM2CableChain_Lid_75percent.stl and UM2CableChain_ChainSegment_75... from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1459160/#files. Be sure to print these with extensive support material in Cura.
