Maker Select Spool Roller and Guide Prototype
thingiverse
I reworked the roller, can't recall who originally came up with the design. However, I had to resize it to fit my needs, utilizing the 606ZZ bearing found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071R7BXD1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This project is a redo of another individual's guide. The only part I borrowed was the bracket; the rest is entirely my own creation, as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017H4VBVS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I employed an old soldering iron to melt and weld all the components together. My prototype features PLA construction. To assemble the spool, I ran it along the seam top and bottom. The guide wire length can be adjusted; simply push them in place and use a hot iron to cut and score them, securing them firmly. This is just a prototype, but it functions well on my Maker Select machine.
