I printed the thin guide and it greatly improved filament consistency during prints, but its thinness caused it to drag across the rail when the extruder moved left or right. To resolve this issue, I switched back to the original thick guide. This modification was incredibly helpful, but I prefer not to remove my filament from the extruder as often as possible, so I added a 2mm slot at an angle in the bearings, allowing for easier filament insertion.
