I really loved the original design by AnansiTheArmadillidiidae, until the day I forgot to thread the new filament through the hole and my print had already begun rolling off the bed. At that point, I wished with all my might that I could somehow thread it through after the print had already started flowing from the extruder. This filament guide allows you to easily slide the filament into its guide even after your extruder is fully loaded and ready to go. Its clever design was actually inspired by a very practical solution my kids' booster seats, where the seat belt effortlessly glides into its own safety guide above their shoulder.
