Maker Man - Running
thingiverse
Initially designed for rapid printing and machine calibration, this Running Maker(bot) Man also excelled at detecting flipped x or y axes and fine-tuning Skeinforge settings without wasting plastic filament. Excess models were given away as samples for bronze casting tests. Surprisingly, some of the initially poor prints turned out to be excellent when cast in bronze. These creations were made long ago but have only recently been shared online. To print, ensure correct orientation and adjust height from 2mm to 1mm for faster results. For added practicality, drill a hole in its head to use as a key fob for your gym membership.
