Makelangelo bearing holder
thingiverse
## Background Makelangelo is a wall hanging, mural drawing machine equipped with motors positioned on top left and right of the wall, connected to pens via belts. A belt stretching diagonally across the entire wall is required to draw on it completely. ## Problem When trying to find home by touching limit switches, the pen holder collides with the floor, causing the belts to skip off the pulleys. This issue occurs because the pen drops all the way to the bottom when placed in the middle, hitting the floor and disrupting the machine's operation. ## Solution This bearing holder is designed specifically for a roller skate bearing (8x22x7) and gently pinches the belt against the pulley, preventing it from skipping. This innovation allows large machines to successfully find home, resolving the problem of skipped belts and enabling smooth operation.
