
Makelangelo 5 - Wall hanging Plotter - Gondola with geared penlift

<p>This is just a different approach to a Gondola for a Polargraph robot.<br>My main goal was to get the pen up and down to a smooth linear motion and make it easy to change colors.</p><p>You need:<br>2 x 6806-2RS Bearrings (30x42x7mm)<br>1 x mg90 servo<br>300g Fishing lead bullets<br>3 x small rubberbands<br>some small wood screws for fixing pens into the holders</p><p>I printed it in standard PLA, 0.2mm Layerheight several times.<br>Assembly is straightforward (see photo)</p><p>The small containers are filled with 100g of fishing lead bullets and then sealed with hotglue</p><p>Mounting the gear onto the Servo:<br>- use a standard servo horn and shape it to fit into the gear and glue together</p><p>Check out the work of Dan @ marginallyclever.com and marginmakelangelo.com and get your machine in his shop.</p><p><br>Latest Update 19.01.2022:<br>- Changed weight and weightclamps for better fitting<br>- added GT2belt mounting for Gondola weight<br>- added mounting Hooks for Machine (2Parts for stronger prints)</p><p> </p>
