Makeblock Laser Fume Extractor/Filter

I'm going to modify parts to extract and purify fumes on my Makeblock Laser engraver. To customize the setup, I will trim the fan duct significantly to fit snugly around the laser body. My filter is a basic homemade carbon filter made from activated charcoal and an 80 mm fan. Just ensure both fans are drawing air instead of pushing it onto the laser head, as the factory fan blows air directly onto its surface. The hose used is a standard Shop Vac vacuum hose.
