Make Your Own Platonic Tetrahedron

Make Your Own Platonic Tetrahedron Vertex connectors and edges that can be snapped together to form a perfect Platonic Tetrahedron. As a design project, the tetrahedron stands out from other Platonic solids with its unique characteristics. To create the edges, I extruded the base triangle toward the center of the tetrahedron. To build a tetrahedron, you need exactly 4 vertex connectors and 6 carefully crafted edges. Once assembled, the structure boasts 4 equilateral triangle faces: V + F – E = 2, a mathematical equation that proves its perfection. Among the Files Vertex connector Edge bars of various lengths to snap together seamlessly. Note Please print one connector and one edge first to test the tolerance. A resolution of 0.2 mm works flawlessly for me. You can experiment with different resolutions to adjust the snugness between the vertex connector and the edge. As the project nears completion, be prepared to bend the structure slightly if necessary to align the edges with the slots. A pair of pliers will come in handy during this process. Remember, tetrahedral edges are distinct from those used for other Platonic solids due to their unique angles. Have fun building your perfect Platonic Tetrahedron!
