Turn your iPhone into a GoPro! Mount the camera above the case of your choice using a 3/4 by 4ft PVC pipe and you'll have your own versatile GoPro cam at your fingertips. You can also attach a plug to the bottom so it floats if accidents happen. For my build, I chose a LifeProof case for maximum water protection since I'm using it while fishing or boating. Upcoming additions will include safety features like attaching a steel cord to the phone case in case of breakage. Right now, I use two cases for my LifeProof case - one remains on the mount while I swap out the other. Feel free to share ideas or suggestions in the comments below. So far, my tests have gone exceptionally well, withstanding conditions like driving and boating without any issues. The apparatus has proven itself to be extremely durable. To note: If you plan on building this, don't forget to adjust the scale one decimal place to the right when importing your design from Inventor into Makerware for some reason, it tends to auto-scale incorrectly.
