Make your own Electric Longboard - WIP
thingiverse
This project involves building your own longboard from scratch. Keep in mind that with the MARK2 version, you'll need to use the MARK1 N1, N2, and N3 gears along with the MARK2 N4 gear to boost your board's speed significantly. The MARK2 model can reach speeds of up to 20km/h, whereas the MARK1 tops out at a more modest 1km/h. Calculations: 1. Reducing Speed Calculations The motor we've chosen produces an impressive 15,200 rpm, but we deemed it too fast and decided to reduce its speed for added strength. Our research led us to conclude that a top speed of 20km/h is sufficient for a longboard. To achieve this, we designed the MARK2 reducer.
